POUR IT OUT
Pour It Out Ministries is the ministry of Ben and Jodie Hughes. It was officially birthed in 2009 following a distinct and urgent call from the Lord.
The mandate of Pour It Out Ministries is to ‘pour out’ the oil of God’s presence and power in the nations. Their hearts are consumed with passion and love for God and to see the manifestation of His Kingdom and revival come to the hearts of His people, and to their churches, communities and nation.
Pour it Out Ministries combines passionate and prophetic worship with relevant and now preaching. They are known for being real and genuine people. Whether through worship, the prophetic or a word in season they are anointed to lead people into the manifest presence of God for themselves.
Their ministry is marked by the fear of God and a burning desire to see hearts on fire for Jesus. Intimacy with God is paramount and they seek to birth and increase a deep hunger for “more” in those they minister to.
On a practical level Pour it Out Ministries facilitates conferences, worship events, weekend and church services. They minister in evangelism, short term missions, equipping of the church, worship and the prophetic. They are available for booking.
Revival consumes their heart. They believe a major key to Revival is personal revival. They are known for releasing break through, extended prophetic worship, ministering in signs and wonders and blowing the trumpet of awakening to the church.
WHY POUR IT OUT
Pour it out comes from a direct reference to Zechariah 4, especially verses 11-14. God gave us this chapter after a supernatural encounter in the middle of the night. This is our mandate and mission to… “pour out golden oil… worldwide”.
THE ANGEL OF AWAKENING
We believe that the Angel of Awakening is being released around the globe to awaken the saints from their slumber. God is bringing revival and awakening the church to rise up to be who He has called them to be. He is restoring revelation of resurrection life and sounding the trumpet of awakening! The time is now!
Pour out revival on a dry and thirsty people. Awaken us from our slumber Lord and release your end time army!
At approximately 12.30am one night as we slept, we were suddenly woken. Ben felt what can only be described as electricity coursing through his body in increasing intensity. Jodie saw a 10 foot tall angel standing at the end of our bed staring intently at us. We both screamed… and then screamed.
What came to mind was the Rick Pino song, “The Lord is with you mighty warrior”. A thick presence of God descended and in the days following a weighty, heavy fear of the Lord manifested in our lives. We knew this was a marker… a sign in the road… a turning point from which there was no turning back. We were marked for the Kingdom and within a short time were launched into full time ministry.
The next morning God spoke about the encounter and gave us Zechariah 4 which talks of being awakened from your sleep by an angel. These bible verses and experience have become the basis of our mandate and mission as a ministry.
The Angel of Awakening is blowing his trumpet church. Its time to arise! God is calling His forerunners to take the fire of revival and all over the nations. God is calling His Church to arise and get in position for He is taking back HIS CHURCH. Arise army of God. Its time to bring heaven to earth.
WHY THE LOGO
THE KORU
The Koru being an iconic New Zealand image, is stylistically incorporated into our logo paying homage to Ben’s Kiwi heritage. The koru is the Maori name given to the new unfurling fern frond and symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace. Extending this line of thinking, Pour it Out Ministries seeks to bring resurrection life to all those they minister to and pour out life giving oil from the Father. Just as the Koru fern frond unfurls, we pray that as the spirit breathes life on hungry people that a generation will arise, awaken and bring heaven to earth.
THE FIRE
John the Baptist said in Luke 3, “I baptise you with water. But one more powerful than I will come…He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and with fire!”
Daniel 7:10 says that “a river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him!”
Hebrews 1:7 says “He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire”.
These are the days where God is sending his fire down upon his people. Our cry is that the flames would burn bright in each of us.
